Pray for David Christenson

David Christenson, husband of my co-worker Gretchen, and father of RJ's classmate, Margo, was involved in a hit and run accident on Saturday night. He is in Fargo, in stable but critical condition. Thankfully, he is responding to verbal commands and has been taken off the ventilator. Below is the story from Keloland. We pray for his speedy recovery and for his family.

Family Member in the News

I happen to be looking at the KSFY website, and noticed that my uncle's name was in the news! He has written a book about the Dakota Uprising. He had previously written a book about grave stones. Here is a pic and a link to the website. I think there is a video link that is not in place yet. I will post when I get it.

Family

I had a pretty sad day today. The mother of one of RJ's classmates passed away after a short, courageous battle with cancer, and today was her funeral. She was 47. Sherri was a dynamic, wonderful lady who leaves behind a son in college and an 8th grade daughter. RIP. Their family is in our thoughts and prayers. The community of Britton has had a rough fall---keep us in your thoughts!!

On a happier note, RJ is coming home for Thanksgiving! I am SO excited to see him! Here is a pic of him that I stole from Facebook. I haven't laid eyes on him since August. He says this pic is from one of the Mizzou football games he has attended. I think he is having a good time at college.
