Wild Weather

Yes, we have had typical South Dakota weather the past few days, which I probably don't need to tell many of you. We hit 90 degrees on Thursday, April 23 and it snowed the next day! Saturday was nicer, with sunshine and temps in the 50's. Today, Sunday, it is cool and rainy. I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

Friday evening Wendell and I went with my parents to the Dakota Magic to celebrate our anniversaries--ours is Friday and theirs is Saturday. Ceci stayed at Bette's and RJ has been in St. Louis checking out a college. I will go to Sioux Falls to get him on Monday.

Bumps and Bruises

Here is a shot of Cecilia's first "egg". She tripped and hit the coffee table and got her first big bump. She's recovered pretty quickly!

Easter Egg Fun

This is Cecilia's first year of egg dying. We planned on going to Britton's Easter Egg Hunt and movie, but Ceci was coughing up a storm and tugging on her ears, so instead we went to Quarve's for a prescripton! So, we stayed in on this beautiful day. I did make it out for a run and hopefully Ceci is well enough for church and Easter dinner at Grandma's house. Everyone have a great Easter!!

My Dolly Loves Her Music!

During our last snowstorm, I was going through RJ's "stuff" and I found some old earphones. Ceci thought her dolly need to listen to some music and I got some great pics. Happy Easter to all! We are going to my mom's Sunday. Wendell is having back problems so we will probably stick close to home the rest of the weekend.

One Shining Moment 2009

One of my favorite parts of the NCAA tourney is the playing of the song "One Shining Moment" at the conclusion of the championship game. I've been watching it for years and it makes me cry every time! I posted a copy I found on YouTube. Enjoy!
